AAI HSE Standard Two Diver, Twin Regulator HP/LP Air Control Panel w/ Pnuemo

A diving safety memorandum issued by The Inspector of Diving, Department of Energy, Petroleum Engineering Diving, and HSE lays down the following requirements: The air supply system to a diver should be designed in such a way that in the event of the diver’s umbilical being cut or severed it should not deprive any other diver or standby diver of their air supply. It should be noted that it is impractical for the affected air supply to be isolated by manually shutting a valve. This AAI panel fully meets this requirement. The panel contains two completely separate HP lines, each with two inlets and separate pressure reducer. As back up, two LP inlet lines are fitted, which can supply either diver with air. Check-valves ensure that the air from one diver’s line cannot be diverted to the other’s. Because there is a common air supply serving both of the divers when used with the LP supplies, in this mode the panel meets the HSE diving requirement for two diver only.
