Shallow Water Helmet

The helmet pictured here is one of a variety of items which are available from Desco for the serious helmet collectors. It was originally produced in the early 1940s, and, although no longer used commercially, it is still being manufactured for collectors with the same materials, using the same tooling, and to the same specifications. It is thus an authentic original rather than a reproduction. The Shallow Water Helmet is made of polished brass and copper and is equipped with 20 lb. Lead breastplate weights in fron and rear.
