QuaNix® 7500
Underwater Coating Thickness Gauge

The QuaNix 7500 is a versatile coating thickness gauge that provides quick and accurate measrements. The 7500 is a topside gauge w/ a long cable for use underwater to measure epoxy, paint, etc on bulkheas, ships' hulls, water towers, etc. This gauge can be upgraded from a basic gauge to a sophisticated model that satisfies the most stringent SPC requirements.

The standard 7500 is designed to measure on ferrous (steel or iron) or non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel or zinc) substrates using the appropriate probe. The gauge provides an LCD readout. The 7500 uses a non-wearing ruby probe tip to ensure long life and precision even under rough conditions. The QuaNix 7500 is of rugged ultra-durable construction and is very simple to use. There isn't even an on/off switch - just place it on the substrate and read the display.

The QuaNix 7500M (w/ memory) allows you to record up to 3900 measurements in up to 999 blocks (or groups). You can view these blocks of measurements on the gauge. The gauge will provide the average thickness and high / low measurements for each block. The third option is to download the collected measurements to any IBM compatible PC via an RS 232 C and TTL interface. The QuaNix Software is available in either DOS or Windows 95. The QuaNix Software processes the measurements into statistical information such as high / low, average, standard deviation and a histogram.
