“Hands-Free” Operation

Its unique flat design and compact size makes the EPOCH III easy to operate in even the most cramped quarters. The unit comfortably hangs “hands free” from a chest harness. All keys on the front panel are easy to reach, even when wearing work gloves.

Large, Bright, High Resolution Display

The large display with unsurpassed vertical resolution and fast update rate provides an echo trace with a high degree of sharpness. Both waveform and easy-to-read thickness display can be viewed simultaneously at all times.

Rugged and Reliable

The EPOCH III is rugged and reliable. Its splash proof housing is made of impact resistant, durable Lexan® to withstand years of heavy use in adverse working conditions. The sealed keypad prevents contamination and facilitates easy cleanup.

Pipe Stand Prevents The Unit Sliding When Pressing Keys

The standard pipe stand with adjustable, slip-resistant bar gives you the option to set the EPOCH III down when not using the chest harness. The unit can easily be placed on a pipe or benchtop for secure operation.

Control With Only Three Keys

You have virtually complete control of the EPOCH III by using only three keys that are directly within reach of your thumb. Toggle the Item Select key and use two slewing keys to access and change all important parameter settings.

Unique Collapsible Sunshade

The EPOCH III comes complete with a collapsible sunshade that easily snaps into place to view the display in direct sunlight. It also folds down to protect the display when the EPOCH III is in transit.

The EPOCH III offers three flexible battery options. Utilizing the latest in battery technology, Panametrics combines the durability and reliability of lead-lead dioxide batteries with the convenience of multiple configurations.

• The 12 volt battery tray provides eight hours of continuous operation. Unit Weight : 6.3 lbs (2.9 kg)
• The 6 volt battery tray provides four hours of operation while reducing weight Unit Weight : 4.9 lbs (2.2 kg)
• The remote 12 volt eight hour battery pack can be comfortably carried on the utility waist belt Unit Weight : 2.6 lbs (1.2 kg)
