SeaOtter - Rugged and economical remotely operated vehicle.

Fishers ROVs are completely mobile, high performance underwater camera systems capable of moving in any direction. With an ROV your team can locate, inspect, and videotape an underwater target without having to enter the water.

The SeaOtter has a sophisticated 4 motor propulsion system with two motors for forward/reverse and two motors for vertical and lateral thrust. Meters in the console monitor thrust for each motor. Topside the SeaOtter system connects to a color video monitor. The video can be recorded on any VCR to create a permanent record. The operator uses joysticks on the topside control console to "fly" the ROV and adjust camera angle and lighting.

The SeaOtter system includes a 2 lux color camera in a corrosion-proof PVC housing with built in leak detection system, four high intensity 100 watt underwater lights, and a 250 foot deployment cable. The underwater lights employ a unique water cooling system which allows many hours of operation without the need for bulb replacement.
